UGA McBay Science Library
Since 2017, Leapley Construction has served as a preferred contractor of the University of Georgia for task orders and stand-alone construction projects – including multiple renovations of the Shirley Mathis McBay Science Library which was first constructed in 1968.
After renovating the third floor of the McBay Science Library, Leapley Construction delivered the fourth-floor renovation in two phases to update the traditional library into a modern, flexible environment. Leapley Construction removed the outdated stacks, updated critical building infrastructure – including the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems – and built new collaborative environments for individual and group study.
