Ideas United at Glencastle
Located on the eastside of the city, the original Glencastle Building was home to Atlanta’s city stockade, stables, blacksmith shop, and a working farm in the late 1800s. In 2020, the historic Glencastle Building was restored and re-purposed as the Glencastle Creative Office Campus. Leapley managed the second generation buildout of a vacant floor within the multi-story office building. The work consisted of the minor demolition of interior components and relocation of MEP systems. Leapley built the following new interior components to best meet the organization’s corporate workplace needs: partitions, doors with glass sidelites at conference/meeting rooms, operable partitions, millwork, lighting to meet energy codes, open plenum ceilings, power/communication devices and new finishes throughout.
